Hungry for Attention:Is young Richard alone in his cravings?

To answer the question straight, I say yes. and no. When he kills the kitten to get attention from his father he is alone. It is not something his family and likely most other people would take well. He was also alone in his visits to the bar to get drunk and talk and join in with the daily drunkard riffraff. Along with that odd craving he joined in with a group of children by the sloping hill to harass and pester the citizens driving by, cracking jokes and acting erratic. This behavior got reactions from people which are favorable by kids. Its pretty much something all kids do. He is alone in certain acts of craving for attention but they all share The same childish need for attention and causing havoc within the streets.I'm not really sure what to write, so blah. So lets ask ourselves why there is this need for attention. Maybe its for gaining more self confidence and feeling righteous about elders? Who knows. It's part of being a kid and learning from your mistakes and i guess to respect your elders. Respection.Fill word. At least I'm being honestly obvious. So really the answer is no, i don't know why i said yes. I want to go to sleep. Black boy is a good book. Thank you for reading. Peace.
