Chief Seattle is a great man for how he expresses no anger towards the white man for killing his people. He lets his people know, that they willnot sink to our level. He will not kill those who killed his people, except for feeling sorry for those who cant see their brutality for what it really is. He says this soil is sacred, and cannot be consecrated by blood. No more blood. He never wanted a city named after him either because he thought it would bring him back from the dead when people said it.
